The Fifth & Final Round

The Best Scramble of the Year, AND One More Time to Honor a Legend.

When we lost Billy C. (William J. Connelly) on November 15, 2021, we didn’t just lose a friend; we lost a force of nature. To keep his memory alive, seven friends chipped in $300 each to turn grief into opportunity. Combining Billy’s two greatest passions: golf and education, we created The Billy C. Tournament, and promised $500 annual scholarships for five years at both Scotia-Glenville, and Niskayuna high schools.

When Billy's wife Alison came on board, and with the help of his life-long friend Kevin O'Brien; what started as a modest $3,000 promise, has grown into a legacy.  As we enter our Fifth & Final Round, we are proud to celebrate a total of $17,000 in scholarships awarded to 10 students from Scotia-Glenville and Niskayuna. Thanks to your support, Billy’s impact will continue to be felt, with $2,000 scholarships at each school for another five years.

After the final putt drops, join us for a catered buffet at The Parlor, followed by a final toast at Stoney’s Irish Pub—where the beer is cold and the Connelly family ties run deep.
